AWARDS
In 2019, Anne's CD - Sakura Tales: Stories from Japan - won a Storytelling Resource Honor Award.
Anne was honored with a
Foreign Minister's Commendation
for FY 2020 from the country of Japan
for the promotion of mutual understanding
between Japan and the United States.
In 2022, Anne was decorated with the Order of the Rising Sun, Silver Rays, conferred by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan for significant contributions as a professional storyteller in promoting Japanese culture in the United States and promoting friendly relations and mutual understanding between Japan and the United States.
In 2023, Anne received an Exemplary Community Service Award from the Asian American Coalition of Chicago.
